Vacuum to all electric ADD ??

Vacuum to all electric ADD ??
Just curious if any one has ever done this or even contemplated doing it.
Sometimes when everyone calls in sick at a customers location I have time to think .
What got me thinking was the 12 VDC idle up solenoids on engine drive welders which can be had configured to either push or pull.
Having never taken the time to look the 4runner system in person I am not sure just what is used.
