Clutch Slave Cylinder Boot Full Of Pressure/Fluid

It's not leaking. I thought it was supposed to be full of grease, went to grease it and fluid shot out of it.

I can make my clutch slip in 1st and 2nd gear is it possible the slave cylinder is the cause? Like the pressure is letting that rod stick?

Also i have 3inch bigger tires than stock can that be making my clutch slip? Thanks for any advice

Don't grease it, or any other brake or clutch hydraulic rubber parts!!
Ordinary petroleum based greases are death to these rubber parts.

It should be clean and dry inside that boot. What you see is the first leakage that will get worse until complete failure finally occurs.

The leakage is not likely to be connected to your clutch slippage though. If anything, the symptoms from the slave leakage would be asscociated with trouble getting the tranny into gear and hard shifting.

Your clutch is likely to be worn out.

Yeah i think your right about the clutch going out. Do you think putting the stock smaller tires back on it would make the clutch slip less?

Also can a clutch going bad cause a vibration? I get a slight pulsing vibration in high gears when cruising at low rpms 1500-2k?

Thanks for the quick reply too!

Changing to smaller tires might help a little , for a little while, but the handwriting is on the wall.

Look to your driveshaft and U joints first for the source of your vibes.

The transfer case and pinion companion flanges sometimes get loose too.
