1996 Tacoma losing power on any incline and loss of mpg

Hey all,

I have a 1996 toyota tacoma 4x4 ext cab w/ the 2.7 liter engine. I am losing power on any slight incline when going 60 mph +. The mpg has been getting worse as well. Last tank was 15 mpg.

I thought the fuel filter was the culprit but no change after replacing it recently. I also replaced the spark plugs, pcv filter, oil filter, air filter, valve cover gasket, tires, and new clutch. It's even difficult to go 80 mph on a straight road/highway.

I thought maybe the maf was the culprit but it looks very clean. Any other suggestions? Could it be the fuel injectors? The truck runs great and never hesitates on starting or around town.

Thanks

Is your MIL on??

Put bigger tires on?? I have seen even new tires of the same size effect performance.

Is the new clutch slipping ??

Has the truck gained any weight??

New bumpers hauling things around you forgot about ??

A tank of really bad gas

There's no check engine light on. Had the truck scanned just in case and nothing found. Same size tires. New clutch is great and doesn't slip. No weight gain and it doesn't have a hitch so I can't tow. I've tried sea foam and premium fuel.

It almost feels like I hit a huge wind storm when I go on any slight hill or incline. Bigger hills on the freeway will have me go from 80 to 60 going uphill.
