Question seat wear idea

I've got about !40K miles on my 'runner, and the drivers seat show signs of wear from climbing in and out.

Does anyone think it's possible to swap the driver and passenger bottom seat cushions, that way, the bad part would be facing the center console, and be barely visible.

I'd swap the back cushion also, but I think the lumbar would cause issues.

interesting idea! I am in the same boat with the wear, but I'd rather see it than my passengers so I'll keep it on my side, but that is very clever. Hope someone with a 2nd gen has a response and here's a bump.

my wear is mainly on the bottom left bolster of the seat back. I was just going to get it recovered when I hit 200K mi only 30k left to go

Ever since my 4runner was new I kept a terrycloth bath towel covering my seat. When I take the towel off, the seat still looks new

Well, thats cheaper the Wet Okles. The previous owner of my rig had just had that section of leather replaced before I got it.

Very good idea though!

Mine has minimal wear but I plan on getting the Wet Okoleas before summer so I don't incite further wear.
