Aisin hubs. Which types?

Hey guys I have been following all the threads on the conversion of the ADD system on 2nd gen 4Runners to the Aisin manual hubs, and read the write-ups in the tech section; I too want to do this mod. I know what years of the pickups and 4runners will work, but how about the 4WD vans?
I went to the junkyard today and they had a mid 80's Toyota 4WD drive van with manual Aisin hubs.
Do you all think that they are compatable with converting the ADD system on a 2nd gen 4Runner, correct spline number?
It was a pretty damn cool van too. 5-speed manual, 4WD, and had 250K on it when it died. That would be the ultimate surf truck.

Thanks,
Chris

It's an interesting idea, and maybe they will have the same spline count. Most salvage places let you return parts if they don't work on your application.

My brother has an '88 4wd Toyota van. It probably has 250K+ by now. It's got a 5 speed, AC, etc. It's nice except the engine is not in the best place for access. It's under the driver's seat. He has a bad exhaust manifold that will be hard to fix.
