88 Pickup Wiring Mess

Hi all, New here and hoping that this forum is actually active as the last two I have joined are dead, dead, dead.

So, my quick story. A few weeks ago I bought an 88 XtraCab. This truck has some "issues" but I have been pimped-slapped as to just how many!

It's mostly wiring and much of it has been resolved. However, I'm still wrestling with some. I honestly cannot read all these diagrams I see online and in my service manuals. Apparently, I need something simple, direct, maybe drawn in crayon?

Currently, my lighter is completely disconnected. I did not disconnect it and cannot figure out where it was originally wired.

I have labeled the image with questions. I have a loose connector that I do not now what it goes to.

Plus, you can see the two wires taped together. One's red, one's black. (Lighter?)

I know the black connector on the right is for the radio.

Hoping I can get some help.

Your lighter wires are red/green stripe for positive and white/black stripe for ground.

With plugs it is better to show the plug head on like it is going to be plugged in.

We will help you get it figured out.

Thanks Gevo for the drawings.

And I'll get that plug re-photoed. Good point about showing the plug.

Thanks again! It's great to actually get some help!!!

New, blurry, image of that plug.

Alrighty! More wiring mayhem!!!

Took some images of additional open plugs hoping that someone can I.D. them. Remember, it's an 88 Pickup 22RE Auto 4x4. Thanks!

And . . . My horn is not working. Upon inspection, I noticed a cut wire. Have not been able to find/trace the other end. The large plug up top is connected and looks ok. Any help?

Bottom is a water drain for the horn, not a wire.

This one looks like it goes on one of the coolant temp sensors.

Give it a tap with a hammer while someone presses the horn button.
