have a 94 toyota pickup and the temperature gauge peggs completley to hot automatically as soon as you turn the ignition on. The truck can be stone cold and it will still peg all the way to the HOT red zone in the temp gauge and stay there until truck is cut off. Not sure what could be causing this. Any tips are appreciated.

Sounds like the sensor wire is grounded out somewhere. Or a bad sensor.
