What's the best, most reasonable 2" lift for an 87 runner? Im not rock crawlling or any thing. Just pulling my little boat and an accational off road camping.....Anyone? Oh yea, and how hard is it to install my self.

 

i'm thinking an add-a-leaf in the rear and cranked torsion bars would do the trick for you

 

If your leaf springs are sagging then an add a leaf could end up breaking the springs.I put an inch and a half shackle lift in the back.It only cost about $30 and took about an hour and a half to do.I also did my 3 inch body lift on in a day and it only cost $90

 

When your doing a body lift, you might want to make sure the spacers are the same size as the OEM ones, click here to see what happened to my body mounts

 

Hey thanx alot. I can see I have alot to think about. But I think I do want to go with the 2"or 2and a half Body lift. Can you recomend a good one and where to find it? And? Is ther a web page on how to put it on? I'd like to try to save the price of a shop doing it. Thanx again. Bryan

Hey ,that looks kinda like my runner,anyway, I got mine from summitt racing,I believe the brand was performance accessories.It was a complete kit and your rear bumper mounts to the underside of the body so you don't have to relocate it.Good luck.
