Throttle lock for winching

Has anyone done a high idle switch or throttle lock in the cab on an OBD 1 3vze
for winching??

I am running a dual battery system but want to add a throttle lock to bring the RPM to about 1700-1800 for winching

any suggestions???

Most commonly done is a bike shiftier or break lever for a hand throttle.

Easy little method if you have AC and dont use it.

I do like the idea of the bike lever for sure I guess I could use a manual choke cable as well? mount it right beside the throttle cable?
