Noob alternator removal question

Sorry for the noob question, just want to make sure I'm doing this right.

Getting ready to replace my alternator. Loosened the top and bottom bolts.

The plug itself seems really stuck in the back of the alternator. My visual inspection I couldn't notice any clips. I'll be cleaning it a little better tomorrow in the daylight for a better look.

I'm assuming there are clips, or does it just pull out?

Thanks!

Make sure you get a new external voltage regulator as well - they should always be replace with the alternator.
