(NO MARINE GREASE)
I've been doing research on what front end grease to use for my front end parts. The manual specks Moly with a NLGI #2 rating. I know it specifies moly but that may have been a product of the point in time it was specified. Today it might be ok to use synthetic grease in that application.

After looking at the specifications of a few I like the looks of:
Mobile1
Lucas Red N Tacky
Valvoline several types
Amsoil
John Deere TY6341

After looking at the specifications on the Amsoil it's numbers are so far ahead of others I really have to question if they aren't just made up numbers so I'm leaning away from that.
I also found a John Deere tractor forum where several people who used the JD greases stopped using them and are happily using the Lucas Red N Tacky.

After looking at all the reviews on Amazon and reading some on bobistheoilguy it seems the Mobile1 is good stuff but suffers from separation. I also read reports about the Red N Tacky leaking out of peoples guns, but to be honest I don't recall if it was separation or just grease leaking out of their guns.

Hard to beat Moly EP #2.
Any good brand.
Grease all points every oil change and after any fording.

I myself am going to need to find a new grease I was using Wolf`s Head made here in Pa but my supplier closed .

I find I need several grease guns with different grease for all the different things I grease

I also found a number of people recommending LE 3752 #2, and their 1232.
A few people recommended Mystik JT-6, and G-6 over Mobile1 stating that even though on paper the water wash out on Mobile1 is superior in their experience it wasn't that way.

All of those are good options. Just make sure the grease types are compatible. For simplicity, stick with a lithium based moly #2 grease, though aluminum complex or lithium complex are better.

My top choices would be Amsoil, LE, or Schaeffer.

Yea, when I saw Schaffer made grease I instantly wanted that. Untill I read about the aluminum content.

I started looking at Mystik greases a little more and the specifications on this one looks pretty dang good for a NON Synthetic and the price isn't crazy.

Here is a list of companies that have paid to have their product tested and certified as meeting or exceeding the NLGI specifications.

Valvoline Synpower Synthetic or Mobil 1 Synthetic or what ever synthetic I can find at Wal-Mart, O'Reilly's or NAPA if they're our of Valvoline and Mobil 1. There's been a run on synthetic grease at our local stores which is weird. If none I use Lucas Red and Tacky.
