need fsm electrical diagram key 1985 pickup
I am just learning how to read the electrical schematic and would like to see if there is a master key that has all the symbols and letters so I can figure it out. I know the main letters are showing major wiring ie battery alt and starter. I would appreciate maybe even a direction to research. I went through all 11 pages in the section and cant find anyone really talking about this. I do understand basic conventional car wiring but need help with the map. I appreciate it.

If you have a copy of the Toyota Electrical wiring diagrams all you need is in the front of every one. At least the paper copy ones I have.
Just what are you having trouble understanding??

I have the ones from the factory service manual but there is no legend to tell what the symbols mean. also when I track the wire on the plan it has things like R-G and B-W and such are those the colors they are supposed to be? It would be very sweet to have a legend for the symbols and I cannot find one on line anywhere.

Find your self a hard copy of Toyota`s Electrical Wiring Diagrams in the front of every one is a few pages explaining just how to use it.
I need to get to work perhaps when I get home I can figure something out.
I am sure one of these youngsters on here who are much more gifted with these computers could get you just what you need.
To me 8 track tapes are still state of the art.
