Parts availability for pre-84 trucks

Let's try this worded a little differently...

Anyone heard of using the 3D printers to make things like dash pads, or bezels? Things that are very rare to find in good shape in our year trucks?

I don't know if it's more cost effective to make them out of fiberglass or whatever else people are doing...Just curious if it could be a solution as the technology becomes more common and prices come down, or if it'll never be that cheap.

If you own a 3D printer it wouldn't cost must to make that stuff. I know guys who make yoyos and spintops all the time.
