what problems may i incounter? replacing 89 22re ext-cab 4x4 with a 94 V6 ext-cab 4x4. My son put is 89 on it's top and the cab needs to be replaced. Any help would be appreciated

 

As far as I know it should be a direct swap

 

Cabs will be a direct swap. You will need to do a wiring harness swap. That will have you taking all of the interior out to do that and most of the dash assembly. Here is a thread https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...4-88-a-278925/ It is for the 84-88 but once you get the dash out it is basically the same. On the 89-94 body style you start on the passenger side and work your way to the drivers side to get the dash out. It isnt as hard as you may think. Just takes some time.
