Coil over swap on 2nd gen

New to this forum, would like to know if anyone has tried to swap out the to torsion bars an put coilovers. It seems like it would be a better setup. But I'm just wondering how difficult it could be and if it's possible, thanks

I believe long travel suspension gets rid of torsion bars for coils. Search around for long travel suspension swaps in the build thread section

yes, some long travel kits utilize coilovers - something like the Total Chaos Coil-over Caddy kit is one. I believe you can use coilovers with the Blazeland LT as well.

Can't say I've ever come across a build using stock IFS control arms and coilovers, likely just not enough room to fit coil inside and clear the CV. Essentially, the basic requirement to run coils is to weld on shock towers to mount coils - it's bit more involved than that of course.
