I need your opinion . I have a 91 xtra cab 4x4 with a 3.0 that's crapping out. I'm looking into the 3.4 swap and have found Toyonlyswaps in Oregon. Not too sure about dishing out 3k for a round trip ticket for my truck from Hawaii to Oregon. But I have found someone here to do the job. Just need the engine, wires, computer etc. Anyone know of another shop other then Toyonlyswaps? Or mechanics on Oahu Hawaii doing these swaps? Just checking. Love my truck, don't like the new ones. I'll be glad with any reply.

Cheapest is finding one local. Where your at might be a limited market though.

 

My friend has a remanufactured heads and block with polished crank. But its a 3.0 , he'll sell to me for 2k. But not sure, the 3.4 is better.
