80 AC components fit 87 4Runner?

Recently purchased an 80 20R 4WD with air and was wondering if any/all of the underhood AC components (compressor, lines, condenser, bracketry, etc.) would fit an 87 22R 4Runner, either bolt-on, or with minimal modification?

It depends just what you call a minimum modification .

Then that system is now working and has been sealed .

I would guess none of the holes would line up for anything

It might be interesting to see if that older compressor would fit in any of the newer brackets . I am sure with $$ it can be done.

That would be the most critical part lining up the drive pulleys /

Unless the Evap or condenser coils are full of holes

Thanks for your thoughts WY9.

The 80 is a no-title trail rig. The AC system is not functional but the compressor is not locked up and the system appears to be "sealed" and complete. A friend of a friend has the 87 Runner, and heard that I would part with the complete AC system.

I will tell them to come look at it and if they think they can make it work I will make them a deal they can't refuse.
