91 Sr5 3.0 clutch question...(pressure plate size)
Recently I had to pull my engine out of my 91 SR5 xtra cab 4x4 because of a few leaky freeze plugs so I could replace them all. Along with all the oil seals.
While I was at it, I decided to replace my clutch and pressure plate, and have my flywheel resurfaced.
I ordered a Exedy clutch kit. Before I did anything I unpacked the kit and lined them up with the old parts to make sure everything was the same. All the parts lined up except the pressure plate. I was a wee smaller and would not line up with the bolt holes on the flywheel.
Did I get hosed and sent the wrong pressure plate? Or is there a difference that is not mentioned on most sites I've been on between the 4wd and 2wd??
Luckily my old clutch and pressure plate were not that worn, and I just re-install them.
Thanks
Scott
