Whats up brothers! Well my 98 limited is just completely dead. I drove home from work yesterday and parked it and when I hopped back in to head to the grocerie store it wont start! I have power to the dash and radio and headlight. There is no guage lights for the speedo fuel and temp, and the ac/heater fan wont blow with key in the on position. My 4runner within the last two months has had the battery, starter, alternator replaced and I just had the the timing belt water pump valve cover gaskets replaced! I I checked the fuses and they are good to go. I bought another starter relay yesterday thinking that may be it but still nothing? So any thoughts on where to look next is appreciated. I read on another forum that it might be the 100A ignition fuse, I will hopefully get to look at when I get off tonight. This happens right before me and the family were going camping for a week! Start checking fuses both under the hood and in the cab, ground wires, battery charge (yes, new but could be dead or dying), security system if it has a starter cut-off function.

Time to break out the volt meter and start testing....

Yea I'm headed that route when I get off of shift today! It seems like it's one thing after another with my 4runner lately

 

Well I chased leads and checked fuses all afternoon. I finally had it towed to my mechanic.....

 

Bummer. Please post up the resolution after you get it back.
