Cool Crazy_Guys97 1986 Toyota 4x4 Build up Thread

I'll to update the thread regularly . This a 1986 Toyota 4x4 5 speed 22r with 134'000 miles on body and engine has flow masters . I bought this truck for $850 with title. So i have replace the transmission (130'000 miles) clutch 4x4 unit and Cv joint. I have just a few things to get road worth.
1. is title it and get a tag
2. two new pathfinder all terrain 33s tires
Other things that it needs but just not right is=
3 passenger side Cv joint
4. radio and speak
5. radio wires
6.I'm going to put spray rhino lining on my floor
7. build my own flat/dump bed

I like the color of your truck. I had a flatbed and miss it on several occasions. You will be surprised at how handy they come. These are some easy trucks to get back into shape with some work. Looking forward to your build.

I might also paint the truck this summer . I my friend suggested that we could mix rhino liner with green brown and some colors to make camo. Yes im already tired of having a bed

Thats a great truck to start with. Especially at 850$$ Flatbeds are definitely handy. There are alot of guys on here who have made some really nice ones.

I started on the frame on the flat bed. I'll try to get some pics up. Today i cut weld a 1 ft square tube to 5 1/2 ft square tube

Here is my flat bed that me and my dad built . It will be painted charcoal gray and the cab the same color.
