Trying to replace my wiper motor. Have a new one, but cannot get the old one off the mounting plate. Bolts are stripping faster than freshmen college girls.

How do I remove the crank arm on the backside of the plate?

Can I find a new mounting plate and crank arm?

 

it does come apart



If memory serves , the arm is secured simply with a 14mm nut !

rebuilt and cleaned , an all back together

The replacement I got has a round connector like yours in the photo. The one I took out has a squarish shaped connector. Can I find a round connector to connect it or will this not fit?

 

just pull the pins and swap connectors
