Bushwacker question for all yall
alright so i pulled off my stock flares to ship em to guiness a day this afternoon and have my new bushwackers sitting around. now my question is can i install them and then take them off again(when they get painted @ the body shop at the end of this month) or is it too complicated and would break stuff. i saw all the little 3m tape pieces and thats waht kept me from doing it today. if anyone has any experience please chime in. i really hate the way my ride looks without flares especially since the paint is all rubbed off on the edges and its uber dirty where they were
thanks
thanks

3M stuff is usually designed to be messed with easily. It will hold very well and when you're ready to take them off they should go. Don't take my word for it but thats my experiences with 3M brand adhesives.

You should be able to take the flares on and off without any problem, except for the pieces that go on the rear doors. The ones on the rear doors have a template that drills into the door itself, and that would probably be a pain to take on and off, but the flare that connects to it should come off fairly easy. If they're like mine you probably won't want to connect the 3M material until after paint because once it's on you probably won't be able to take it back off and it will be a pain to paint around. Good luck and let me know if you need any questions answered.

If you are painting them I'd leave them off til they are painted;it's not worth the trouble plus if they are to be painted then you shouldn't expose them to anything that could damage them or even ding up. Be patient.
