I'm just trying to learn a little more about this truck. I'm trying to get rid of my fun size chevy with the 6.5l so an easy 4200 dollar truck and I have been offered a 92 yota with the 3.0l. The guy said that the motor was rebuilt by the previous owner but the speedo/ odometer doesn't work and it needs e brake cables. It also has a six inch lift on it already which is a plus in my book. I'm just wondering if the truck is worth the trade or if I should move on?

 

You'll find most people hate the 3.0. I've owned one and it wasn't too bad. I'd probably pass and keep your chevy, he'd likely be getting the better deal. Your mpg probably won't be too much different, surprisingly. I averaged 16/17 on the highway with my 100% stock 92 extended cab with the v6.
