1999 prerunner starter clicks and sometimes starts

1999 prerunner starter clicks and sometimes starts
my '99 tacoma prerunner 3.4l v6 the starter sometimes clicks and other times turns over fine, sometime it seems like it isnt getting power to turn over, is this a starter relay problem?

I would hope the battery terminals are clean and tight.
I would look at your ground cables next.
It never hurts to upgrade to new ground cables cures many starting and charging problems
How many miles??
the contacts in the starter solenoid might need changed.
