3rd gen manual locking hubs
Does anyone know if the locking hubs off of a 3rd gen are compatible with a 2nd gen 4runner. I have the auto hubs right now but would like to have manual and there's a set off a 3rd gen for $75 on cl. But not sure if they'd work on my 92. Thanks

Well, 96+ 4Runners never came stock with manual hubs.
It is common for them to use 95.5-00 Tacoma manual hub spindle setups.
However, the 95.5-00 tacoma freewheel hubs are not compatible with 86-95 Toyotas.

Just keep in mind you also need all the hardware to hold the hubs on .
It is not just taking your Automatic Hubs off and bolting the locking Hubs on.
You do Have Automatic Hubs and not the ADD with the drive flanges.
There is a big difference.
