Marlin Crawler short throw shifter

My in laws always give me gift cards for Christmas, this year I asked for Marlin Crawler.

I had been waiting for the shifters to come back in stock for a while and finally got the email saying they were in.

My truck is an 88 extra cab with a 3.0. I already had a marlin shifter and seat so it shifted pretty well.

The install took about half an hour and the difference is amazing. The shifts are very positive and the throw is so short compared to stock.

I have a 98 Mustang GT with lots of Mods, one of which is a Steeda Triax short throw shifter and this one feels very similar.

My truck shifts like a brand new 26 year old truck only better.

Not yet. This one is a year old. Last clutch survived 3 transmissions
I really want the short throw shift as I know it would be great. I will probably wait for it until I upgrade to W series transmission.
