Ignition/door lock swap

Ignition/door lock swap
So ive been thinking. Has anyone swapped their lock cylinders for ones that accept a "reverse cut" key? Is this even something possible?
My key has been pulling out of the ignition with the truck on so ive been looking at new ignition locks. Anyone know if any lexus lock cylinders fit in our trucks?

I don't know whether or not it's possible. Are you talking about keys like this?

(sorry, these are the best pics I could find)
If these are the keys you're talking about, I wouldn't go for it. They're ridiculously expensive to duplicate or replace whether you get them from the dealer or if you buy a blank and find someone to cut it for you (if you can find someone who's willing to cut it).

Give it a whirl. Post up what you find out and what it takes to make it work, or why it won't work. Seems like a good idea for these old cylinders. Diameter and backside linkage would be where I would think issues may arise.
