Just started making a grinding type noise in the front of the truck sometimes it does it and other times it does not...When I engage the 4 wheel drive it stops.Also what type of fluid put into the 4 wheel drive?

More information about your truck would be helpful

Manual or auto hubs?
Have you checked the fluid levels in your front diff?
Have you checked the fluid levels in your transfer case?
If the answer is no to the fluid questions now would be a great time to replace them

Have you pulled your front hubs apart to grease and inspect them?

Also only grinding in full turn or all time?, Might need grease turn stops.
