82 22r installed webber carb now volt light stays on charges fine ??

82 22r installed webber carb now volt light stays on charges fine ??
so I did the old webber carb swap took all the emission stuff off the truck when I start it up now the volt light / battery light come on but the volt guage reads fine anyone ever seen this before ???

I turned my volt dummy light "OFF" with a piece of black electrical tape... LOL My volt meter worked fine too so I wasn't concerned about the light. Turned out that it was a bad ground that was tripping the light.
