must i remove axel all way on 95 Tacoma to get out the front diff

must i remove axel all way on 95 Tacoma to get out the front diff
Or can I just unbolt all mounts and let it drop with axle attached to clear pan just enough

On 86-95 the whole front diff must be removed to remove the 3rd member. I'd assume that the taco's are the same.

3rd member? I mean like can I get axle out of the diff without taking hub and crap off

I can drop my front diff on my 92 without removing the half shafts. Just need to find the right angle.

I just finally decides to undo motor mount and just jack up engine enough to do timing chain
