2013 Toyota Tacoma4x4

I was camping a few months ago right after I bought my truck and with it loaded down with gear and 4 adults and one child the back end bottomed out. Is this because the back end droops a bit? Should an add-a-leaf be added or will it get corrected when the lift goes in?

Add a leafs are pretty cheap and easy to do. Also resale is decent on craigslist. Would increase load capacity some. How long till your lift goes on?
