Feels like misfiring in cold

It seems like when it gets really cold outside that my 92 4R V6 2WD starts to misfire. It only happens when it's really cold. I'm not too sure if it misfires or what but when I accelerate the rpms drop a bit then go up and drop then go back up. Its strange because there is no CEL. I'm thinking it's a leaking from the CSI. Any advice would be awesome.

I did searching and there's nothing with this same symptom.

My truck does something similar when its cold. Im wondering if it is running too rich while the CSI is operating.

I know this is an old post but my truck's doing the same thing. I've narrowed it down to the VAFM. I see you've got the 7mge VAFM, Bone Collector. If you've still got the stock one put it back on and see if it still does it. That's how I figured out it was the VAFM. Do you have the 7mge VAFM, mylittlepony? I'm going to tune the spring on top and the bypass screw and see if I can get it fixed.
