2004 4Runner V8 with 125,000 miles

That sounds about what it would be at my dealer. If it were my dealer, it'd be broken down like this:
4 hours labor for the timing belt
1 additional hour for the water pump
Inspect all pulley bearings and serpentine belt and advise.

My dealership charges $120 an hour, so that's $600. You figure in parts, that's probably easily another $300.
