Brake line help

It's just one thing after another. My truck just started leaking brake fluid from where the lines go up by the fuel tank, so I can't really see what is going on. I plan on just completely replacing the brake lines. That seems like the easiest solution. I need some help on the routing though. I can't see the lines when they go up above the fuel tank. When I run new lines back to that brake modulator valve thing, I have 2 inbound lines. One line comes from the fitting connected to the front passenger side brake line's fitting. The other just has its own fitting near the front pax side wheel well. The valve thing in the rear has two inputs, one upper and one lower. Which is which? I don't think I will be able to trace the lines since I will just cut and run new line, this info would be much appreciated. Thanks

I would highly advise dropping the fuel tank and routing the brake lines properly. It's easy to drop the tank, 6 bolts, the filler neck, and supply lines.

It may have been done some other way by someone else, but my suggestion is to do it right. You could route some new lines, not realizing one is rubbing somewhere, and lose the rear brakes at some time. Or improperly routing the line which may cause some hard-to-bleed issues. I don't know, bro, it's just stuff I would be thinking about.

The tank looked a little harder than just six bolts to drop. I will take a look and if that's all it is, maybe I will do it the right way... I've just never dropped a fuel tank before so I am a little intimidated by it.
