Trying to lift 98 T100

Hey guys so I have a 98 Toyota T100 i want to lift. I want to do a suspension lift but i don't have much money to spend. I found a lift kit made by Supreme Suspension on eBay for $350 it is a 3" in the front and 2.5" in the back it has four shocks and an extra leaf spring for both sides and all the hardware. I was wondering if i can lift it from stock 3" without having to rebuild the entire front end. They also have kits down to 1.5" in the front and 1" in the back and everything in between. I was wondering if i could use any of these with out having to rebuild my front end. Also what would you guys recommend be the best way to go about lifting my truck or the best and cheapest way to do a suspension?

I'm assuming that the kit you found uses ball joint spacers in the front?

If so, the only way your gonna get 3" out of it is to adjust the torsion bars to the point of uncomfortable. Most ball joint spacers will give you 1.5". Check out Toytec or 4crawler.

Read through 4crawler's page on the spacers...
