Can an IAC leak coolant into the intake manifold?

Hi,

The coolant lines to my 88" 3VZE idle air valve have been disconnected for many years. I'm thinking about reconnecting them. Is there any possibility that coolant can leak past the valve and enter the intake manifold?

Will I learn much about the condition of the valve by visual inspection?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry I couldn't give you more info but if the seals leak, they leak.
Disassembly of the unit is not advised either since that would affect everything.

That's fine. I don't absolutely need it, so I'll leave it disconnected.

Thanks again.
