bucket seats in my bed

so I got some bucket seats from a Chevy astro and I'm planning on installing them in the bed of my truck. does anyone know what the legal requirements are? so far I have heard seatbelts, bolted down securely and below the roof line. If someone has done this before some advise would be appreciated!

Years ago I had a 1981 Toyota truck in Florida with Subaru Brat seats installed in the bed. I had a rollbar and because the seats were originally in the bed of a Subaru Brat no legal problems. I mounted the seats with their original frame and seat belts. I used grade 8 hardware and large thick washers where the frame mounts were bolted to the bed. I used to take my kids to Daytona beach and cruise the beach, the kids loved it.

Yea I'm defiantly gonna use all grade 8 hardware. I was thinking about putting in a role bar just for that old-school runner look. I also was thinking about putting a rack on. Just some thoughts.

That's pretty sweet. I have two seats, but I'm gonna have a problem mounting the seat that's in the font facing backward. They're too deep and won't fit in front of the wheel wells. I think I'm just going to bend the frames of the seats a bit.
