80 toyota 4x4 proportioning valve

does anyone know where to get a new proportioning valve for a 80 Toyota 4x4 that's not 227 bucks any help would be great I have one on my parts truck that I will try if I have to but would like a new one thanks any info would be great thanks again

As far as your question go I don't really have an answer, but if I am not mistaken a proportioning valve is pretty much an aluminum block, nothing mecanical inside, so if you have one for free on your parts truck you might as well use that one instead of a new one.

this maybe alittle newer but this is what a proportioning valve looks like it has the rod that runs to the rear end so when the truck is over loaded it transfers the pressure to the front brake so you don't burn up the rear brakes I wish it was a simple block but no lol my luck
