93-97 Landcruiser FRONT locker into Pre-04 Tacoma?

Tacoma differential different between 03 and 04?
Stumbled upon this randomly. http://home.4x4wire.com/erik/diffs/
The site says that the Tacoma up until 03 has a 7.5" front diff, but switched in 04 to an 8"..... I have a feeling this is a typo, since the model redesign was in 05. Can anyone set the record straight?

Sorry about this post guys, when i first wrote it, i plum forgot that the landcruiser was SAS front. I've since edited the post, leaving just the 2nd question I had, but even though I edited the title, the original is still what shows in the forum.
