I currently have a 91 2wd Toyota pickup with a v6. It sat for years after the transmission got burned up. I have found a transmission out of an 86 2wd pickup but it had a 22re engine. From what I have been told and compared, the transmission sounds like it has the same amount of gears and such, but my question is will the bell housing match up? Or can I swap bell housings? Appreciate any replies, and thanks again.
