so im having electrical issues on a 1980 Toyota 4x4 and now the thing wont stay charged and the battery light keeps coming on and it has to get jumped.ive beenhaveing electrical issues for a year .my buddy parted out his 81 Toyota with a 22r mine has a 20 r are the computer and wiring harness's compatible between the 22r and the 20r.

 

basically the same , but just a couple of different systems , like the choke /carb . you can use it , but I would repair the one you have personally

it's still a 30+ year old wire harness !!

to bad painless dosnt make a harness , but just not enough demand
