im new to the four banger world but i no how to work on engine and i have done everything i no to this truk to get it running but it wont. so heres the story i have a 92 yota pickup the guy i bought it off blew a head gasket and asked me to help him out to i did thinking since he has no macanic skills i would get it running for him so we tare this truck down and get the head off and what not and he had everything tore off before i could even get there so we get it put back togather there absoultly no compression. so i go to checking the timeing and what not and everything is the way it is supposed to be and now im just confused so then i checked the valves and there not dammaged or scared so i put it back togather again and still cranks with no compression. need help please....

Wow pictures might help. But punctuation would help even more. That's actually hard to read. Ok so you said he had it all tore down before you got there. Have you checked the head with a straight edge. A lot of people will overheat a motor with a blower head gasket. Might be badly warped. Pictures will probably help. Good luck.
