or any year of this generation, do they come with an auto locker instead of the electronic locker.

My friend just bought an 06 2wd trd tacoma and was told it came w/ an auto locker. I thought all these trucks had the electronic button engaged locker setup....

Never came with auto lockers, just e lockers. If it's an auto locker then it isn't factory.

 

My 06 4x4 TRD "Sport" has the LSD. TRD "Off Road" has E-Locker on 4x4. Not sure about 2wd.

 

Its a e-locker on the trd offroad package. Look for the actuator above the rear diff and switch in the cabin.
