I NEED to buy new rims and tires for my truck. What are the best sizes for the rims/tires?

225/75R15 is the stock size.

I'm a fan of 30x9.50 as well. I have them on 15x6 Toyota wheels.
You can put 31x10.50 on there but I think that soaks up too much power and braking ability. I like the balance of the 30x9.50s.

I've been running 30x9.5 tires for about 2 years now and have 4.10 gears. I didn't really plan on it but I got some used ones for dirt cheap and did a lot of commuting to and from work and I have no complaints. Theres acouple of factors that you have to concider with tire size and type. How much off roading do you really plan on doing? How much driving do you do? Are you driving on mostly flat ground or is it hilly? My first set was some a/t cause it fit my need the best. I now have 30x9.5 km2s same size but my drive is about 5 miles a day so it makes scenes to get something that I can use more off road and not wear them out in a year. As for gears some people run up to 31s with 4.10s and have no issuers But if you want to be mathematically correct, 4.30 or 4.56s are great for 31-32" tires.

As reference here is my truck with 30x9.5 km2s with no lift and factory gears.
