I have a completely rust-free 1993 2wd pickup with air-con. My mom has an early 1978 (2nd gen not 3rd gen) 2wd Hilux with a rusted out bed, a previously caved in roof that got fixed with a lot of bondo (tm), but a solid front end. She likes the AC in my truck and how it drives, but it has been a dream of ours to restore her truck. She with a cosmetic front end swap (bumpers and grill, fenders and hood if necessary) if it can be done. I have some familiarity with both trucks (hers more than mine). Any advice would be appreciated, and as I said before, everything forward of the steering wheel is 100% solid and rust free.
