Hey guys,


I've noticed a weird idle issue. When I start my truck in the morning it idles high of course then when slightly warmed up idle lowers to around 500 range, then after driving and stopping(stop light etc) its back to 800 rpm at idle. The same thing happens after warmed up, turn the truck off then on an it sits at around 500 rpm then when driven and then at a stop its back at 800 rpm. Conclusion, upon start up it idles low then after its driven always idles at 800 rpm. Anybody know what the culprit may be? Not a highly critical issue however very annoying, I want to be able to start my truck and have it idle at 800 rpm every time not have to drive it to have it idle where it's suppose too. It's a 1990 toyota pickup 3vze 4wd 5 speed with 253xxx.
