swap cab from '93 22re to '87 22r?

Hi all,
I have a 1993 22re regular cab with a blown motor, and have the oppurtunity to buy a '87 22r (both are regular cab) with a strong motor and a solid frame, but with a cab that's totally busted up. I am wondering if it will be possible to replace the busted cab from the 87 with the nice cab from the 93. I know the body style is different but t seems like it ought to bolt on anyway. I also am wondering what sort of wiring issues I will be dealing with what with the 93 being efi and the 87 being carbed. I'm a total newb as far as this sort of thing goes but have some basic mechanical aptitude and if its not totally arcane or impossible I'm sure I'll be able to figure it out with good advice. I'm aiming for a cheap farm truck and this will be by far the cheapest option for me if its feasible. what do you think, is it doable?

Why not swap the motor, and change the manifold, sensors?

well, the frame on the '87 is in much better shape than the frame on the '93. I guess that's the main reason. I live in maine where they salt the roads pretty heavily, and frames tend to get rusty. If you think swapping the motor would be easier than swapping the cab, then that is an option.
