i have a 1993 ext cab automatic 3.0 L v6 toyota pickup and the steering wheel will lock up while i am driving. i have torn apart the steering column and cleaned everything. the ignition works fine. i have asked almost everyone i know and they have never seen anything like this. i dont know what else to do except cut off the locking pin that is inside the steering wheel. there was a wire running to the locking pin. not sure if it was anti theft or what but that didnt seem to help. it only locks up when i am turning left. i need some advice and fix this soon because it is my daily driver. please help.
