Crazy Idea but seems like it would work

So I have an all pro 4-6" lift on my 82 pickup and I just picked up an 85 4runner frame and cab.

So here's the crazy part. I'm taking the suspension off the 82 as well as the axles rims and tires and putting them on the 85.

I found 85 4runner stock springs for sale either here on yotatech or another forum. Would that work for the 82? I'm planning on turning the 82 into a parts runner/getaround and the 85 into a trail rider. I figure that the leaf length would be about right but I wanna make sure before I commit a couple hundred bucks to used parts. Any other ideas would be appreciated. I could do ome on the 82 as well....but cheaper is better at this point. The 85 needs a LOT of things but I did find something hilarious. I'll only need ONE key for both trucks. Didn't get one with my 85 but it works in the ignition lol.

Well, should do fine. If you look at OME part numbers, for instance, the springs are the same part number 79-85, the rear spring bushings are the only difference. You'd need the bushing set for your 82 instead. Only thing is, I was under the impression that the spring hangers were modified to install AllPro's springs.

The way it was installed with my truck it will work out. The front spring hanger came with the truck but wasn't installed so all stock hangers are intact. The front rear hanger for all pro is welded on the frame so I should be able to lower it to stock.
