My CD player quit working recently in my 4Runner so I sourced a new A56811 oem radio from a junkyard in another state. Surprise, the power/volume knob is faulty to the point where if you barely touch it to adjust the volume, the power shuts on and off.

Is there a thread somewhere showing how to replace the knobs? I could just take the knob off of my original radio and put it on the new one if I knew how to get them off.

Got the answer on T4R.org... Ended up swapping my original(good) faceplate with the faulty junkyard plate and it works fine now.
